The perspective, the angle, the view

The landscape a panorama, was so hard to escape

I couldn’t focus in to see all the places I had been

Far and wide circling – scattered among both sides of the divide

I stepped in last night to a beautiful sight and was standing right behind Diana

sitting back in a chair with freshly cut short hair

So young, nineteen, with a smile on her face, well composed, relaxed, completely laid back

ready to take in the joy of each day.

Then somewhere in between everything got mean

Chased around and forced to hide underground.

Why should that be? Is she more interesting than thee?

Look in the mirror and see what you lack rather than chase people around

because you like how they sound or look and the path they took.

Or maybe if you asked, the person would happily agree.
