Other’s Happily Ever Afters

BECKONED to reveal truth in darkness,
senses dimmed to force wisdom in.
I summoned courage from a past life:
An enlightened existence.
One void of shackles and chains,
Judgment and confusion
to benefit other’s amusement
Visions and dreams
The majority mean
Twist and turn situations and words
As I labor and squirm

“Oops, sorry, we didn’t know it was you.”

As if that should matter
You made your brother badder
and your sister sadder,
Of course, it matters
Mothers won’t gather
Those who’d rather
Cause confusion and pain
Fueling distance and disdain.
But I’ve seen in visions,
Myself trembling from anger,
When suddenly,
somehow, some way
Fate melts hate into a stream of love
