My Delight

Half way between heaven and earth

Is where I’m in my perfect light
Just you and me soaring one level out of sight
Floating just above the surface is where I want to be
You and me passing, where no one else can see

You my perfect lover and I your soon delight
As we soar above the earth transcending time and space
Riding just above the surface is the perfect hiding place
For you my perfect lover and me your ever delight.

It’s a place no one can touch us
Where you woo me with new sight
Such joy you’ve planned out for us
When we reach our glorious height

My Delight

Deuteronomy 33:29, NIV

Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights.”

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

My delight is one of the first poems I wrote several years ago. It is printed in two of my books: The Kingdom Has Arrived Volume 1 and Volume 2.
