I’d like to splice together only great views. As a survivor of a masterfully lost past
to guide all through to a brighter view

…now trapped in limbo

A sacrifice,
lost lives,
The past, the present, composites I grasp of multiple futures
fragments in between
My dreams,
the little scraps I see
Our story from before
A little less,
then a little more

In an attempt to close the door
On a journey too long
Scattered beyond where I ever went before
A stretch to belong
an attempt to fit in
I pull segments together
To weave and spin
A story of me
So, there’s someone to see

I struggle to break through
For a chance to see
only what’s in front of me
The life from before
I try to close the door
Many pieces of others I shouldn’t have viewed

Some fact, some fiction,
Others a blend of a time when those untrue stepped in with their view,
When in reality, it should have been only you and me.
Some views, other lives, and what should-have-been if our creation stood.

I’d like to splice together only great views. Create and redesign me and you minus the ugly views =
a masterpiece kind, with love, and a whole mind.
